By no exception, all of our staff have an academic degree and/or PhD background in a technical subject, including geology and geophysics, physics, mathematics, civil and mining engineering. A large portion of our staff bring operating experience, very often gained through a career with oil and gas operating companies. Others started their career in the service industry bringing key experience in technology development and deployment. Each year we recruit a limited number of talented individuals, recruited straight from university. Our internal training programs and rotating job assignments ensure fast-track professional development.
The essence of SGS Horizon is its international team of over 90 technical professionals. SGS Horizon currently employs staff from over 15 different nationalities.
